JO! joins the site and SF Sketchfest 2027 opens applications

A new Polish festival has joined improvfestivals.org, and two existing festivals have new editions on the books.

New festivals on the site

International Improv Festival JO! is an annual long-form festival in Toruń, Poland, with four evenings of Polish and English shows hosted by Centrum Kultury Dwór Artusa on the Old Town Market Square. The 9th edition runs July 23-26, 2026, with a workshop programme July 22-26.

Festival updates

SF Sketchfest has announced its 2027 edition for January 14-31, 2027, across Bay Area venues in San Francisco. Applications are open via the festival's Airtable form. The early bird deadline is August 2, 2026, and the regular deadline is September 2, 2026.

Oslo Impro Festival has set its 2026 dates for October 17-24, an eight-day run at Chateau Neuf produced by Impro Neuf. The prior edition has been archived at Oslo Impro Festival 2025.
