Overview

International Improv Festival JO! is an annual long-form improv festival hosted by Centrum Kultury Dwór Artusa in the historic Artus Court on Toruń's Old Town Market Square. For its 9th edition, the festival presents 15 shows across four evenings (over 12 hours of programming), with each night divided into a Polish-language set followed by an English-language set so audiences can sample both Polish ensembles and visiting international artists.

The 2026 line-up mixes Polish groups including Kolektyw TERAZ, Improwizowane Poniedziałki, Klub Komediowy, Wolne Elektrony, and Fun Fact with international performers such as Will Luera (Big Bang Improv, USA), Kelly Agathos (Athens/Amsterdam), Nora McLeese (easylaughs Amsterdam), the ImPresent duo of Liron Barre and Ignacio Grinstein, and physical-theatre duo Gael Doorneweerd-Perry and Diego Ingold.

Workshops

A parallel workshop programme runs July 22-26 at Dwór Artusa and at the Kulturalny Hub on Bydgoska 50, with 3-hour, 6-hour, and 12-hour masterclass options taught mostly in English. The festival's "mixer" format pairs international teachers with workshop participants for a final performance on the main festival stage. In 2026, Will Luera and Kelly Agathos lead mixer teams.
