Overview
Impulsez! is an international improvisation festival held annually in Muret and Toulouse, France, produced by La Bulle Carrée, a Toulouse-based improv company founded in 2007. The 12th edition ran from November 8 to November 29, 2025, spanning three weeks of shows, workshops, and improv matches across the Toulouse metropolitan area.
The 2025 edition was themed around "languages," featuring multilingual performances with international guests from Spain, Italy, England, and Germany. The artistic director described the concept as "the words rub together, overlap, sometimes get lost, but meaning always emerges." La Bulle Carrée's festival philosophy centers on audience participation: public engagement is considered essential to the "impulse" that drives each performance.
