San Francisco Improv Festival returns

The San Francisco Improv Festival is back. After pausing during the pandemic-era shutdowns, SFIF returns August 12-16, 2026 at Silk Road Bar in Union Square under the tagline "Coming Back Together Under the Same Stars." The new artistic director is Marcus Sams, with Michael J. Astrauskas and Clay Robeson producing.

Submissions are not open yet; the official site is running a countdown, so check sfimprovfestival.com if you want to be ready when the application drops.
