The Vietnam Improv Festival (VIF) is an annual improv festival in Hanoi. First held in May 2023 as "Vietnam's very first international improv festival," it has grown rapidly - from 110+ improvisers from 8 countries at VIF23 to 200+ improvisers from 15+ countries at VIF25. The festival alternates language by year: English in odd-numbered years and Vietnamese in even-numbered years.
VIF26, themed "CHUNG VUI, VUI CHUNG" (Share Joy, Joy Together), is the first edition conducted entirely in Vietnamese. The festival is organized by The Improv Hub, Hanoi's home for improvisational theatre. Earlier editions were co-organized with The Rotten Grapes Improv Theatre and ATH Drama & Arts Space.
VIF26 features workshops led by instructors including Quentin Delorme, Bi Max, Hoang Tung, Le Kim Thanh, Uy Le, Tran Quang Anh (Billy), and Hua Thanh Tu.
