Overview

Third Coast Improv Fest (TCIF) is Nashville's annual improv festival, produced by Third Coast Comedy Club at its home venue in Marathon Village. The 2026 edition runs November 4-8 and marks the festival's 10-year milestone. Recent years have drawn around 50 troupes and 200+ improvisers, with programming that balances visiting acts from Chicago, New York, and other comedy hubs against Nashville's own improv community. The festival is strictly improv-focused and does not program stand-up or sketch.

The 2025 Friday-night headliner was 2 Square featuring John Lutz (30 Rock, SNL, Late Night with Seth Meyers) and Peter Grosz (Veep, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me), with a separate Saturday headliner.
