Overview
PHIT PHEST is a recurring weekend of curated indie improv shows presented by Philly Improv Theater (PHIT Comedy), the long-running nonprofit comedy theater and training center founded in 2005. Rather than a single annual festival, PHEST runs four times a year (Winter, March, Spring, and Summer), timed to the end of each seasonal class session at PHIT's home in the Hamilton Family Arts Center in Old City.
Each PHEST weekend pairs advanced PHIT student teams with invited indie troupes and special guests from Philadelphia and beyond. Spring PHEST 2026 runs Friday and Saturday, May 15-16, with evening shows from 7:00 to 9:30 PM and student showcases on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Tickets are honor-system priced from $15 to $30.
