The London Improv Festival is a four-day celebration of improvised comedy presented by Blanche Improv, a female-led independent theatre company based at CabLab Studios in Earls Court. The festival features performances from international headliners alongside established and emerging teams, with workshops during the day, shows in the evening, and nighttime improv jams. Additional programming includes panels, skills-sharing sessions, a live podcast recording, and socials.
The festival is pro-sober - no alcohol is consumed at official festival events. A distinctive feature is the Fan Faves Competition, where teams compete for the last remaining performance slot through audience-voted qualifying rounds held on Sunday nights in the months leading up to the festival, culminating in a Grand Final.
The 2026 edition features four headliners: Achilles Stamatelaky (UCB NY), Ryan Gaul (The Groundlings), Connor Ratliff (UCB, host of the Dead Eyes podcast), and Suzi Barrett (UCB LA). Notable credits among them include Broad City (Stamatelaky), series regular roles on Superstore and The Last O.G. (Gaul), The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Ratliff), and ASSSSCAT at UCB LA (Barrett).
Applications for the 2026 festival opened December 15, 2025 and closed January 11, 2026. Programming inquiries can be directed through the Blanche Improv website.
