| Laugh Out Longview Improv Festival |
The Laugh Out Longview Improv Festival is East Texas' premier improv comedy festival, held annually in Longview, Texas. Founded in 2024 by Theatre Longview and their resident improv troupe Duck. Duck. Moose!, the festival was born after the troupe struggled to find Texas-based improv festivals to perform at following the pandemic. The 2026 edition takes place at the Longview Museum of Fine Arts in the Downtown Cultural Arts District.
The festival brings national headliners alongside improv teams from across Texas, including groups from Dallas, Houston, Austin, Tyler, and Lubbock, for a weekend of performances and workshops. Past headliners have included Laura Hall (musical director on all 21 seasons of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"), Jonathan Mangum ("Whose Line Is It, Anyway?" and "Let's Make a Deal"), and WeirDass (Stephnie Weir and Bob Dassie). The 2026 headliner roster has not yet been publicly announced.
Team applications for the 2026 edition have closed. The festival accepts applications from improv teams, with details posted on the official website when submissions open.
