Flyover Comedy Festival

Overview

The Flyover Comedy Festival is a four-day comedy festival held each November in St. Louis, Missouri, featuring stand-up, improv, sketch, and variety shows. The 2026 edition is billed as "150+ comedians, 12 stages, 4 days," with programming spread across venues including The Improv Shop, City Winery, Delmar Hall, The Pageant, Stifel Theatre, and the St. Louis Art Museum.

Founded in 2017 by Zach Gzehoviak and Brady McAninch, the festival has become a national destination that draws touring comics who once skipped the city. Past editions have featured headliners such as Aziz Ansari and the Sklar Brothers alongside improv showcases like ASSSSCAT and sketch acts like Disco Horses.

Submissions

Submissions for 2026 ran December 1, 2025 through March 1, 2026 and are now closed. Categories accepted stand-up, improv, and sketch/variety/podcasts at a flat $35 application fee. See the submissions guidelines for full requirements.
