Flock Festival is an international unscripted theatre festival held at Treehouse NDSM in the artistic NDSM area of Amsterdam-Noord. Organized by Flock Theatre, a company founded in 2020 by Laura and Gael Doorneweerd-Perry, the festival brings together improvisers from around the world for shows, workshops, and collaborative performance.
The inaugural 2024 edition featured 21 shows and 14 workshops from 12 international teachers over seven days. The festival also runs an International Ensemble program that brings together around 10 improvisers to work with a facilitator, create a new format, and perform it on the main stage. The 2026 edition shifts to a shorter three-day format.
The festival offers multi-day workshops led by international teachers, with workshop participants receiving festival pass access. Accommodation packages with other visiting improvisers are available through partner lodging.
