Overview

FESTIG (Festival de Improvisacion de Granada) is an annual improv festival organized by La Tetera Impro, a Granada-based improv company active since 2008. Running since approximately 2016, the festival brings together improv companies and performers from across Spain - including groups from Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Alicante, and Tenerife - for shows, workshops, and audience-participation jam sessions. It is held in collaboration with Granada's City Council.

The 2026 edition features performances at Teatro Isabel la Catolica in Granada and La Cochera Cabaret in Malaga, including the signature "Match de Impro" competitive format pitting Granada against Malaga improvisers. Six monographic improv workshops cover levels from beginner to advanced, with registration at 85 EUR including show tickets. A FESTIG Pack with accommodation is available for out-of-town visitors.

Workshops

The 2026 edition offers six weekend workshops (Saturday-Sunday, 11 AM-2 PM) led by instructors including Akira Valero, Daniel Sota, Encarni Corrales, Angel Cantizani, Paloma Cordoba, and Berta Monclus, covering topics from fundamentals to status work, physicality, and storytelling.
