Overview
EUROPROV is Europe's annual English-language improv comedy festival, held in Vienna and organized by American Improv, Austria's first English-language improv school (founded in 2020 by Peter Graff). The 2026 edition runs for ten days at Cafe Aera in Vienna's first district, bringing together performers, teachers, and ensembles from across Europe and the United States for workshops, shows, and masterclasses.
The festival format pairs daytime workshops - covering scenework, character development, and storytelling for various skill levels - with nightly performances featuring full-length improvised plays, fast-paced improv games, and unscripted shows. The 2025 edition featured artists from nine countries and sold-out shows from groups like Shoot From The Hip.
