| Diablo Improv Festival |
The Diablo Improv Festival (DIF) is a three-day celebration of improvisational theater held at the Lesher Center for the Arts in downtown Walnut Creek, California. The festival features performances from regional and national improv groups, workshops for all ages and experience levels - from kids as young as five to seniors - plus meet-ups, parties, and jam sessions.
The inaugural 2025 edition was headlined by The Groundlings and included a variety of troupes such as Secret Improv Society, Your Favorite Story, and The Book Club, along with a High School Improv All Star Invitational. The festival is co-produced by Kenn Adams (Synergy Theater), Randy Wight and Jaime Rich (Spontaneous Mind), and Della Watson (DKW Productions).
Performer and workshop submissions for the 2026 festival open May 18. Applicants must submit a 10-15 minute video clip of their suggested performance format.
