Festival Internacional de Improvisación Buena Onda is a nine-day theatrical improvisation festival held in Bogotá, Colombia. Founded in 2024 by improviser and director Daniel Orrantia, the 2026 edition is the third annual running and brings together artists from Spain, Argentina, Mexico, the United States, Austria, and Colombia across more than 14 cultural events.
The festival positions itself as an artistic and pedagogical platform for cultural exchange and community-building in theatrical improvisation. Programming includes performances, international workshops, mixed ensemble laboratories (pairing Colombian and international improvisers), pedagogical encounters, and territorial circulation across three main venues: Teatro R101, El Quinto Pulgar, and Tribu Art Club. The festival receives institutional support from CoCrea, the Embassy of Spain, and the Spanish International Development Agency.
International workshops are offered with limited spots ("cupos limitados"), alongside mixed ensemble laboratories that pair Colombian and visiting international improvisers for collaborative creation.
