Overview
The Brisbane Improv Festival is an annual improv comedy festival held at Big Fork Theatre in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. Founded in 2021, the festival has grown into a celebration of Brisbane's diverse improv community, drawing performers from across Australia and New Zealand with formats ranging from classic improv comedy to musical improv, horror, and drama.
The 2026 edition runs five nights with shows across multiple styles and 14 skill-development workshops for performers. Ticket sales begin June 1, 2026.
Submissions
The festival accepts expressions of interest for both shows and workshops. The 2026 submission deadline is April 30, 2026.
