Big Pond Improv Festival

Overview

Big Pond Improv Festival is an annual improv festival in downtown Burlington, Vermont, hosted at Vermont Comedy Club. Founded around 2021, the festival has grown into a multi-day gathering of improv teams from across the country who come together for performances, workshops, late-night jams, and after-parties in a single 140-seat showroom.

The festival's stated philosophy is accessibility and community over prestige: "Big Pond isn't trying to be the biggest or most prestigious improv festival in the world." The venue offers a lounge, full food and drink menu, and an onsite hotel for traveling attendees.
